Direct Bonding Veneer

What is Direct Bonding Veneer?

Tooth bonding or dental bonding is non-a simple procedure done at the dentist’s office, whereby a strong hybrid material which is combined ceramic and plastic is applied to restore decayed or chipped teeth or alter the appearance of teeth for smile makeovers.

No Anesthesia

Since the dentist isn’t removing any enamel from your teeth, you shouldn’t need any local anesthesia. That’s good news if you are concerned about having a reaction or sensitivity to the anesthesia.

How long will the bonding last?

The bonding will last you several years, though how long specifically depends on your oral habits. Chewing ice, biting pens, or nibbling on your fingernails, are all off-limits, as this can weaken or chip the material. Staining is a common problem with bonding so remember to get your next teeth cleaning appointment.

If you avoid these habits, and continue to brush twice a day, floss at least once a day, see your dentist for regular check-ups and make sure you use a night guard every night to protect your teeth, your bonded teeth should last you anywhere from four to six years. We also provide night guard here, so we are ready to get you one anytime!

Direct Bonding Veneer is NOT eligible for you if you have…

・Clenching or grinding habit

・Under-bite

There is a high possibility you might get cavities with veneers

Veneers will cover the front of your teeth, but plaque can still build up on the back of your teeth. Plaque and bacteria on the back of teeth can lead to enamel decay and cavities. Veneers don’t cover your gums, either.
